A prototype of SVP-BO buoy based on SVP-BT drifter is designed in Marlin-Yug laboratory. SVP-BO is the autonomous lagrangian drifter equipped with the seawater transparency sensor SWT-A. New drifter is suited for obtaining the systematic operational information about optical performances of seawater and migration of pollutants by surface currents.
