Drifter equipped with seawater transparency meter

A prototype of SVP-BO buoy based on SVP-BT drifter is designed in Marlin-Yug laboratory. SVP-BO is the autonomous lagrangian drifter equipped with the seawater transparency sensor SWT-A. New drifter is suited for obtaining the systematic operational information about optical performances of seawater and migration of pollutants by surface currents.

The SWT-A transparency meter has an unique capabilities.

The SWT-A design and principle of its operation provides longlife autonomous use in marine environment with high stability of measurements.
